Our Friend Leslie Paonessa

Last Sunday afternoon we hosted the friends and family of Leslie Paonessa for her memorial service. Leslie was very special to us at Upper West. She was a long time customer, but most importantly she was a friend and we enjoyed many great evenings with her.  It was wonderful to meet her friends and family, and enjoy the amazing photos of her life. 

As a long time resident of Santa Monica, she was very involved in the local community. She loved the arts, movies and the local restaurant scene; we were honored to be one of her favorite spots. 

Leslie was also known for her epic “Le Secret Supper,” where she invited 20 people to the Esquire Juchem home in Venice and cooked them a six-course meal. 

Leslie, you will be missed and will always be a part of the Upper West Family
