Join us in welcoming our summer artist Edy Seaver to the walls of Upper West Restaurant.

Come meet the artist, see her latest work & enjoy light snacks, wine and community on Sunday July 21st, from 4 ~ 6pm.

Edy Seaver is a second generation Los Angeleno.  Her life has been an adventure of left brain versus right brain, coming from the corporate world to the artistic one.

Learning within the past 8 years she has explored the abstract, yet the realism in her pieces ground her.    She has learned from various artistic across the US and Canada and continues to do so.  We learn so much from each other.  Every encounter. 

Living near and kicking on the ocean comes through in her work.  Her art encompasses the environment around her and takes it to the abstract with rich colors, textures and markings. 

Her work is totally intuitive, rarely planning out what she wants to see in a piece.  It just appears as she goes where the paint wants to take her through the multiple layers of each piece.

Edy feels that the purpose of her work is to help the viewer take a pause and wander into secret spaces of the mind.
